For more details, please visit www.paymentus.com & www.paxcom.ai Job Position : QA Engineer (Automation) Job Location: Gurgaon/Mohali (Work From Office) Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years (most recent) focused purely on test automation Proven experience working with one or more automation tools in a team environment Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban) Strong experience working with full-stack applications end-to-end (frontend, backend, databases) Technical Skills: Strong experience in designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks (from scratch or by extending existing ones) Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured, and/or Postman Strong understanding of automation design patterns such as the Page Object Model and Page Factory Strong understanding of web technologies , DOM, HTML, CSS, XPath, etc Good understanding of databases, database concepts, and SQL Proficient in Java and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript Strong understanding of software development concepts, especially OOP Working experience with Bash or Shell scripting Good understanding of testing methodologies and types — unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, UI, API, performance, security, etc Working experience with Git for version control and collaborative workflows Ability to conduct high-quality and timely code reviews Experience looking at and understanding application base code to ensure automation code being developed is accurately covering the scenarios to be automated Good understanding and experience with coverage strategies and developing automation code aligned with these strategies Soft Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills; able to identify and isolate root causes quickly with a strong understanding of the organization’s software development lifecycle such that root causes are accurately prioritized for resolution Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and progress to stakeholders Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes Desirable Qualifications Prior development experience (even briefly) is a plus Working experience with security testing, performance testing, and/or accessibility testing Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar) for running tests at scale across multiple browsers and devices Familiarity with CI/CD integration of automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). ● Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker ) and/or orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes ) ● Familiarity with analytics tools such as Kibana Familiar with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit , Jest , Mocha , or Chai What we expect from you?
