Position Overview: We are seeking a Prompt Engineer who will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing prompts to enhance AI model performance while also preparing, cleaning, and maintaining the datasets that power our machine learning models. You will work closely with our AI research, product, and engineering teams to develop structured prompts that improve the accuracy, relevance, and efficiency of AI-generated responses. Additionally, you will leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for data generation and augmentation, gaining expertise in prompt engineering and data curation. Key Responsibilities :  Prompt Crafting & Optimization - Design and develop sophisticated prompts that guide AI behavior across various use cases Fine-tune prompts based on testing results and user feedback Create prompt variations for A/B testing to determine optimal approaches Document prompt strategies and build a library of effective techniques Stay current with advancements in prompt engineering and AI capabilities Voice & Chat Agent Configuration -  Configure voice and chat agents for specific client needs and use cases Design conversation flows that feel natural while achieving business objectives Create agent personalities that align with brand identity and user expectations Implement guardrails and safety measures within prompts Collaborate with developers to implement prompts in production environments Workflow Configuration & Ecosystem Integration (New) Configure AI agents as part of end-to-end business workflows, not just standalone conversations Design prompts that orchestrate multi-step workflows, including data collection, validation, decisioning, and handoffs Work with product and engineering teams to integrate agents with customer systems such as CRMs, ticketing tools, databases, document systems, and internal APIs Define how agents should invoke tools, interpret responses, and adapt behavior based on system outputs Ensure prompts are robust to real-world data variability, system failures, and partial information Document workflow logic, assumptions, and integration touchpoints for reuse and scale Quality Assurance -  Own the QA process for AI agents, ensuring they perform consistently and accurately Design comprehensive test scenarios that cover a wide range of potential interactions Identify edge cases and develop prompts that handle unexpected inputs gracefully Document and track issues, patterns, and improvement opportunities Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve prompt-related issues Client Collaboration - Work directly with client teams to understand requirements and business objectives Translate client needs into effective prompt strategies Present prompt approaches and explain rationales to stakeholders Incorporate feedback and iterate on solutions until client satisfaction is achieved Document client-specific requirements and solutions for knowledge sharing Qualifications :  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field 0-1 years of professional experience (experience with AI, NLP, or content creation preferred) Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and natural language processing Strong written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail Experience interacting with AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms Basic understanding of how large language models work Familiarity with APIs, tools, or workflow automation concepts is a strong plus Creative problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams Ideal Qualities :  Natural curiosity about how language influences AI behavior Ability to think both conversationally and systemically Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Adaptability and willingness to iterate based on feedback Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects Genuine interest in the evolving capabilities of AI technology A methodical approach to testing and verification Why Join Nurix.ai?
