Role Overview
The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of rooftop solar projects by coordinating operations, supporting vendors, and acting as the single point of contact for internal teams and customers. This role is critical for achieving timely project delivery and maintaining a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily with Operations Vendor Partners.
Manage project operations using dedicated software and Excel trackers.
Work closely with Design and Customer Delight teams for smooth execution.
Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) for solar installations.
Support the Cluster Operations Manager (COM) in achieving project TATs.
Ensure thorough project tracking and follow-ups.
Conduct site surveys in complex or revisit scenarios.
Facilitate Net Metering & Subsidy filing processes.
Build relationships with local DISCOMs and Nodal Agencies.
Prepare applications and supporting files for regulatory submissions.
Handle tendering and bid submissions as required.
Ensure timely completion of permit-related activities with updates to COM.
Be the Point of Contact (POC) for customers regarding project queries, concerns, and updates.
Drive and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Key Requirements
Education:
Minimum: B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering
Experience:
Minimum: 2 years
Maximum: 4 years
Relevant experience in on-field operations, solar industry, or project coordination preferred
Other Requirements
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Proficiency in Excel and project tracking tools
Ability to work cross-functionally
Willingness to travel for site visits and regulatory follow-ups
Strong problem-solving ability and customer-centric mindset
