NOVA Control Tecnologix Pvt Ltd is a technology company focused on development of advanced railway signalling and train control systems including Kavach, Electronic Interlocking, Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) and Train Control & Monitoring Systems (TCMS) for railway and metro applications.
The company is actively working with Indian Railways and related technology partners to develop indigenous safety-critical systems.
Position Overview
NOVA is looking for an experienced Program Manager with strong background in OEM product development and complex system integration. The candidate will lead multi-disciplinary programs involving hardware, embedded software, safety certification and system integration for railway and transportation technologies.
The role requires end-to-end program leadership from concept, design, development, testing, certification and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
Lead development programs for railway signalling and train control systems.
Manage cross-functional teams including hardware, software, system engineering, testing and field teams.
Drive program execution from concept to deployment.
Project Planning & Execution
Define program roadmap, milestones and deliverables.
Prepare project plans, resource allocation and budgets.
Monitor project progress, risks and dependencies.
Stakeholder Management
Interface with customers, certification bodies and technology partners.
Coordinate with regulatory organizations such as Research Designs and Standards Organisation where applicable.
Technical Program Management
Ensure alignment between system architecture, hardware design and software development.
Support safety certification and compliance processes.
Coordinate system integration and validation activities.
Risk & Quality Management
Identify and mitigate technical and program risks.
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards applicable to transportation systems.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
Manage collaboration with international technology partners and OEM suppliers.
Support joint development programs and technology transfer initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
MBA or PMP certification preferred.
Required Experience
10+ years of experience in engineering or program management.
Experience in OEM product development environment.
