ABOUT SOL’S ARC
Sol’s ARC is a registered NGO working to ensure that every child learns and every adult earns through inclusive education and vocational skilling. For over 20 years, we have partnered with governments, donors, and communities to create systemic change and equity for persons with disabilities.
Our work spans inclusive education, vocational skilling, and systemic advocacy with government bodies at state and national levels — with a reach of over 4 million beneficiaries. This role sits within our Programs function, driving data-informed decision-making that strengthens the impact and credibility of our work.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in program documentation, data collection, and monitoring & evaluation. This role is central to how Sol’s ARC tracks, measures, and communicates its impact — managing documentation systems, designing data frameworks, and translating field data into insights that drive strategic decisions. You will work closely with Program, M&E, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting aligned with organisational and donor requirements.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Approximately:
30% – Documentation & Reporting
25% – Data Collection & Management
25% – Data Analysis & Program Monitoring
20% – Cross-functional Collaboration & Capacity Building
WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO
Documentation & Reporting
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all program activities, capturing processes, milestones, and impact data.
Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Sol’s ARC’s mission and donor requirements.
Maintain detailed, organised records that facilitate easy retrieval of information for team use and donor communications.
Prepare data-driven dashboards and MIS reports for the leadership team, providing clear, concise insights on program performance and outcomes.
Support donor reporting requirements with well-documented data, analysis, and evidence of impact.
Data Collection & Management
Design and implement effective data collection processes for various programs, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
Train program staff on data collection methods including survey design, qualitative and quantitative data gathering, and digital data management systems.
Organise, secure, and maintain data from multiple sources, creating a central repository accessible to relevant teams.
Collaborate with technology teams to develop or integrate tools that support streamlined documentation and data management.
Ensure all data collection systems and tools are aligned with program goals and reporting frameworks.
Data Analysis & Program Monitoring
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for program enhancement.
Translate data insights into actionable recommendations that support programmatic development and strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with M&E teams to design and execute monitoring frameworks that assess program impact, reach, and overall success.
Utilise data to measure program effectiveness, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
Track program milestones against targets and proactively flag deviations to the Director of Program Operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Capacity Building
Work closely with program leads, the M&E team, and external partners to ensure accurate data collection aligned with project goals.
Participate in team meetings, sharing insights, providing recommendations, and keeping staff informed on documentation and data management practices.
Build the data literacy of program teams through structured training and ongoing mentoring.
Liaise with government partners and field teams to ensure data collection processes are contextually appropriate and consistently applied.
Represent Sol’s ARC in donor reviews and external evaluations as required.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Program documentation is current, complete, and audit-ready at all times.
Data collection systems are consistently used by field teams with high accuracy and minimal errors.
Donor reports are submitted on time with clear evidence of impact and no discrepancies flagged.
Leadership has timely, reliable data to make informed decisions about program strategy and resource allocation.
A culture of data-driven reflection is embedded within program teams.
WHAT’S HARD ABOUT THIS ROLE
Managing documentation and data across multiple programs simultaneously, each with different formats, timelines, and donor requirements.
Building data collection habits in field teams with varying levels of digital literacy and capacity.
Translating complex data into simple, compelling narratives for diverse audiences — from community workers to government partners to international donors.
Travelling across rural and urban locations in India to support field teams and ensure data quality at source.
Keeping pace with evolving M&E frameworks, donor reporting standards, and technology tools in a fast-growing organisation.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
You will be the evidence backbone of programs that directly impact millions of children and adults with disabilities across four states.
Your data systems and insights will determine how Sol’s ARC grows, adapts, and advocates for systemic change.
You will build deep expertise in program M&E, data management, and development sector reporting.
You will grow within an organisation that values transparency, equity, and bold social impact.
