About this role

Develop and lead the direction and strategy for the mitigation of Payments Risk on Google’s products with a focus on Google’s Physical good space, AI Tooling development and application. Drive the business requirements for product launches and other projects by designing products and solutions for all business processes reducing risk, customer impact with increased efficiency Anticipate evolving payments landscape and emerging regulations that could impact Payments Risk product responsibilities and facilitate products and remediations, help drive the operational initiatives with a strategic orientation. Work closely with Risk and partner engineering and data science teams, risk operations, analytics and executives of key vertical customers to drive Risk Platform product strategy and road map. Provide thought leadership and product and technical expertise in Risk Management domain and craft product narratives that inspire and influence teams. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in a technology or a business related field. 5 years of industry experience in online trust and safety or risk management fields and in core risk and payments infrastructure, data, tools, systems, and workflows along with experience working for a risk management vendor. 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to the executive leadership. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders. Knowledge of building accessibility best practices, and experience in incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.
