Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Management Intern with a strong interest in building intelligent, data-driven products. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and engineering, and involves working on systems such as search, recommendations, personalization, and operational automation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define problems, analyze data, and evaluate how intelligent product features impact user experience and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Product Development & Execution:
• Assist in building intelligent product features across search, recommendations, pricing, and operations
• Define product problems using data, user behavior, and business context
• Write clear product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and success metrics
• Support execution of product initiatives in collaboration with engineering and design teams
B. Data Analysis & Problem Solving:
• Analyze product and user data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Evaluate outputs of systems and improve quality across relevance, accuracy, and performance
• Track key metrics such as conversion, engagement, and retention
• Support experiments and A/B testing to validate product changes
C. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineering and data teams to understand system capabilities and constraints
• Collaborate with design teams to improve user experience
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives
D. Research & Market Insights:
• Conduct competitor analysis across commerce and marketplace platforms
• Study industry trends and emerging technologies in product and data-driven systems
• Translate insights into actionable product improvements
What We’re Looking For:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of product management concepts
• Interest in building data-driven and intelligent product features
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Technical Understanding:
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts
• Familiarity with concepts such as ranking, recommendations, and data quality
• Comfort working with data using spreadsheets or basic querying tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to AI tools, APIs, or ML-based applications
• Experience through projects, internships, or hackathons
• Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Figma, or analytics platforms
• Interest in commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain products
