Total Number of Openings 1 The Process Safety Engineer is part of the Facilities Process Engineering organization within the Chevron ENGINE Center. This role supports effective execution of the Management of Change (MOC) process and stewardship of Process Safety Information (PSI) by coordinating workflows, performing quality checks, tracking metrics, and ensuring required documentation and roles are in place. The role enables consistent, high quality MOC implementation and PSI completeness by providing operational support, coaching, and follow up across facilities and disciplines for Chevron’s deepwater assets. About the Position Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for a Process S afety Engineer to join the Process Engineering team. Reporting to the Facilities Process Engineering Manager, this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru. Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide Process Safety Information Program Management and MOC support to both operations and engineering  Provide guidance, training, and quality assurance for the MOC and PSI processes. Conduct MOC in flight monitoring and MOC/PSI metrics reporting. Utilize PowerBI dashboards to improve process monitoring and visibility. Strengthening the Process Safety culture by improving workforce fluency and understanding.   Support program development and continuous improvement.   Supports closure of audit findings and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) recommendations.   Develops and maintains critical documentation, metrics, and tools related to PSI Program.   Collateral duties may include participating in process safety related incident investigations, attending PHAs, participating in PSM audits, and creating high consequence scenario diagrams. General support of process safety as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, etc.) (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in high quality MOC implementation and PSI Knowledge and experience in operations support engineering or process design work.  Knowledge of Process Safety Management concepts and principles such as PHA, MOC, PSI Familiarity with building and managing Power BI Dashboards What we can offer you Everything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to  The Chevron Way .  Have the opportunity to take part in world-leading energy projects, advance your professional development and expand your career within an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
