If you’re an experienced technical leader who thrives on collaboration, mentorship, and building solutions that power business growth, we’d love to hear from you!  Role Type: Full-Time  Location: Remote from India Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time / 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Indian Standard Time to ensure effective collaboration    Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 USD per year Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Technical Strategy & Architecture  <ul> <li>Architect end-to-end software solutions using modern frameworks and design patterns aligned with scalability, performance, and maintainability goals. </li> <li>Lead system design discussions for high-traffic applications, ensuring robust architecture for business-critical services. </li> <li>Evaluate, recommend, and implement architectural improvements to enhance scalability, observability, and resilience. </li> <li>Define and uphold best practices for code quality, security, accessibility, and data privacy compliance. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Project Leadership  <ul> <li>Lead complex, cross-functional projects from concept to delivery, aligning engineering solutions with business needs. </li> <li>Collaborate with product and business teams to define technical vision and ensure cohesive project execution. </li> <li>Oversee the technical implementation of new features and services, ensuring efficient use of system resources and infrastructure. </li> </ul> </li> <li>System Engineering & Optimization  <ul> <li>Build and maintain distributed systems using Spring Boot microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes. </li> <li>Design and optimize high-performance databases using MySQL and Oracle, leveraging indexing and tuning for efficiency. </li> <li>Implement and manage Redis for caching, Eureka Server for service registration, and the ELK Stack for monitoring and analytics. </li> <li>Configure Nginx and Apache for load balancing and high availability across production systems. </li> </ul> </li> <li>DevOps & Reliability Engineering  <ul> <li>Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated builds, testing, and deployments. </li> <li>Ensure system health and stability through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies. </li> <li>Drive improvements in deployment automation, infrastructure as code, and site reliability practices. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Leadership & Collaboration  <ul> <li>Act as a technical advisor and mentor, helping develop engineers’ skills in architecture, design, and problem-solving. </li> <li>Conduct code and design reviews to maintain engineering excellence. </li> <li>Collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-departmental stakeholders to influence company-wide technical initiatives. </li> <li>Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability across the engineering organization. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Requirements:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.  </li> <li>10+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development. </li> <li>Advanced proficiency in:  <ul> <li>Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture </li> <li>MySQL, Oracle, and Redis </li> <li>React and modern front-end frameworks </li> <li>Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD </li> <li>Linux/UNIX, Nginx, Apache, and ELK Stack </li> </ul> </li> <li>Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles. </li> <li>Proven ability to architect and deliver complex backend systems and mentor technical teams. </li> <li>Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and align multiple teams toward shared goals. </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Experience using AI platforms to increase productivity (ex: Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)</li> </ul> Why work with us:   <ul> <li>We have awesome benefits – We offer a wide variety of benefits to help support you and your loved ones.
