About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Presales Intern
to support our business development and solutioning activities across
GeM (Government e-Marketplace)
and various
international tender portals
. This role involves reviewing tenders, evaluating RFPs/RFQs, preparing submissions, and coordinating with multiple internal teams to compile high-quality responses.
This internship offers significant exposure to real-world presales processes, government procurement norms, and global bidding standards—making it an excellent learning opportunity for individuals who want to build a career in presales, business development, or project management.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze
tender notices, RFPs, RFQs
, and other procurement documents on GeM and international portals.
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal departments (Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, Delivery, etc.) to gather information required for proposal development.
Assist in preparing
EOIs, bid responses, proposals, compliance matrices
, and supporting documentation.
Maintain databases for upcoming tenders, submission trackers, timelines, and documentation.
Ensure all submissions are made accurately, professionally, and within the specified deadlines.
Support the presales team in preparing standardized proposal templates, capability decks, and company profiles.
Conduct basic market research to understand customer needs and competitor offerings.
Ensure compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and documentation standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Recent Graduates in
Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Public Administration, or related fields
.
Strong analytical and comprehension skills for reviewing detailed documents like tenders and RFPs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general digital tools.
Preferred / Good to Have:
Prior exposure to or working knowledge of the
GeM portal
.
Understanding of procurement processes, government bidding, or proposal writing.
Experience using online tender platforms or CRM tools.
