Role Overview
Brilliant National School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher for Classes 3 to 5. The role focuses on building strong digital foundations through computer basics, MS Office skills, introductory coding, internet safety, and interactive tech activities, using engaging and CBSE-aligned teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver lesson plans and activity plans aligned with the CBSE Primary IT/Computer Science curriculum.
Teach computer fundamentals, MS Paint/Word basics, typing skills, file management, and simple algorithms.
Use hands-on activities, educational software, coding games (e.g., Scratch Jr.), animations, and multimedia tools to enhance digital learning.
Design and conduct simple assessments, worksheets, quizzes, and classroom projects like digital posters or basic presentations.
Maintain student progress records, device usage logs, and digital portfolios.
Encourage participation in coding clubs, tech quizzes, group projects, and creative digital storytelling.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and tech-positive classroom environment with emphasis on cyber safety.
Communicate effectively with parents through PTMs and progress reports, following school norms.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BCA/B.Sc. IT preferred).
B.Ed./D.Ed. mandatory for primary teaching.
1–2 years of teaching experience in primary classes (3–5) in CBSE/ICSE schools, with IT/Computers exposure.
Strong communication skills, patience, creativity, tech-savviness, and a child-centric approach.
Work Location & Timings

Working Days:
Monday to Saturday
(One Saturday off as per school policy)
School Timings:
8:15 AM to 3:45 PM
Weekly Stay Back:
Once a week till 5:00 PM (Mandatory)
