About the Role
We are seeking a skilled
Power BI Developer
to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into meaningful insights by building robust data models, visualizations, and automated reporting solutions. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, expertise in Power BI, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain
interactive dashboards and reports
using Power BI.
Integrate data from multiple sources including
SQL databases, Excel files, and APIs
into Power BI.
Build efficient
data models, DAX calculations, and measures
to enhance analytical capabilities.
Optimize Power BI reports and datasets to improve
performance and data retrieval efficiency
.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to
gather reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions
.
Ensure
data accuracy, consistency, and governance
within Power BI workspaces.
Develop
automated reports and scheduled refresh mechanisms
for up-to-date insights.
Work with
data engineers and analysts
to streamline ETL processes and improve data pipelines.
Troubleshoot Power BI issues and implement improvements to enhance performance.
Stay updated with
Power BI features, tools, and industry best practices
.
What We Are Looking For
Functional Skills
Strong proficiency in
Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M Language), and DAX
.
Experience working with
SQL databases, stored procedures, and relational data modeling
.
Understanding of
ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
.
Ability to connect Power BI to
multiple data sources (Excel, SQL, APIs, etc.)
.
Hands-on experience implementing
Row-Level Security (RLS)
and maintaining data governance.
Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills
.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with
cross-functional teams
.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
Azure Synapse, Power Automate, or Python
.
Familiarity with
data automation workflows and advanced data integration techniques
.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
.
5+ years of experience
in Power BI development and business intelligence reporting.
