Overview Microsoft Research India (MSR India) is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions. The postdoc program at MSR India provides postdoctoral researchers an opportunity to work on impactful research problems while collaborating closely with Microsoft researchers and product groups. Postdoctoral researchers spend 1 to 2 years at MSR India and receive ongoing guidance and mentoring from experienced researchers. Our broad areas of interest are CS/AI Foundations and Security, AI and Machine Learning, Systems & AI Infrastructure, and Technology and Empowerment, especially for the Global South. Projects in the lab are interdisciplinary and span across these research areas. Examples of specific focus include retrieval, reasoning, inference efficiency, multimodality, societal applications, and more.
