About this role

Be responsible for specific areas of vertical performance and extended workforce operations, including quality. Research and stay up-to-date on key trends and suspicious patterns of abuse across the team’s policy areas. Demonstrate understanding of how YPP policies impact YouTube users, platform changes and new product launches.Working knowledge of operations across teams with deep expertise in infra/operations and metrics. Liaise with policy, PR, Legal and Partnerships teams to craft and implement process solutions to emerging threats and improve Creator education. Usage of GenAI tools to drive abuse mitigation, scaled enforcement, and E2E workflow improvements. Generate ideas for policy changes to improve quality and reduce operational burden. Manage and shape relationships with Product and Engineering teams to increase detection and enforcement efficiency. Manage sensitive escalations, partnering with key cross-functional and executive stakeholders to drive solutions. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience in data analytics, trust and safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. Experience in development and usage of Large Language Models (LLMs) in operations. Experience in SQL. Ability to work non-standard, on-call rotations, weekends, and holiday hours. Preferred qualifications: Master's or PhD in relevant field. 6 years of experience in content policy, anti-abuse or customer support operations, and reviewing content or answering user questions, and working with vendors. Experience with, or education in machine learning. Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python). Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
