Your role and responsibilities
This is a
6-month internship opportunity
within IBM Talent Acquisition.
As a Pipeline Coordinator, you will be empowered to take actions that drive candidate flow across open requisitions while also helping build talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
You will manage candidate intake, review applications, and execute pipeline activities from the initial application stage through the pre-screening process for qualified candidates.
You will gain exposure to IBM's hiring needs, business requirements, and skill demands while reviewing pre-assessed candidate pipelines and identifying talent suitable for recruiter pre-screening.
In this role, you will partner closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Recruiters aligned to various business units, receiving continuous coaching and learning opportunities regarding hiring requirements, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
You will also be responsible for maintaining overall pipeline health by monitoring candidate aging across recruiting stages, identifying bottlenecks, and taking appropriate actions to ensure an efficient hiring process.
Additionally, you will support pipeline reporting and analytics, providing visibility into candidate lifecycle progress and helping ensure that only qualified candidates advance through the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
Prioritize candidate pipelines based on identified skills and business hiring requirements.
Plan and execute candidate movement from the application stage to qualified talent pools ready for recruiter pre-screening.
Maintain healthy candidate pipelines with a strong pool of pre-qualified talent throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Participate in weekly meetings with Talent Acquisition Specialists to understand hiring demand across business units and hiring types.
Optimize pipeline health by monitoring candidate aging across recruiting workflow stages and taking corrective actions when needed.
Partner with IBM Talent Insights teams to execute skills-based candidate outreach campaigns.
Generate and analyze pipeline reports to monitor candidate progression throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Review candidate profiles and disposition candidates who do not meet screening criteria or assessment requirements.
Support recruiting operations by ensuring data accuracy and process compliance across candidate workflows.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing recruiting efficiency and candidate experience.
Required education
High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (2nd year or above) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related fields.
Flexibility to work with stakeholders across different teams and time zones.
Ability to quickly learn and effectively apply new processes, systems, and tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret reports generated from Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and a growth mindset.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Adaptable to changing priorities with a strong focus on delivering results.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).
Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Advanced English proficiency, including strong verbal communication skills.
