Senior PHP Developer
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior PHP Developer
with extensive experience in
Laravel 8
,
React
, and
Node.js
to join our dynamic team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing robust, scalable, and efficient web applications while mentoring junior developers and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using
PHP
and
Laravel 8
framework.
Build and integrate
RESTful APIs
for seamless data exchange between frontend and backend.
Develop, test, and deploy responsive and user-friendly UI components using
React.js
.
Implement server-side logic and business processes with
Node.js
when required.
System Architecture & Design
Lead the architectural design of new projects and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
Provide recommendations on technology and framework choices for new development initiatives.
Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and server configurations.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure code quality and proper testing of applications.
Optimization & Maintenance
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks in code and database queries.
Regularly update and maintain codebases, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and share knowledge with the team.
Required Skills
Core Technologies:
Strong expertise in
PHP
and
Laravel 8
framework.
Proficiency in
JavaScript frameworks
like
React.js
and
Node.js
.
Experience with
MySQL
,
PostgreSQL
, or other relational databases.
Familiarity with
NoSQL databases
such as
MongoDB
(optional).
API Development & Integration:
Experience building and consuming
RESTful APIs
and working with third-party APIs.
Version Control:
Proficiency with
Git
and experience with version control workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Experience working with
government sector projects
and knowledge of government compliance and data security standards.
Experience in
developing applications for large-scale enterprise clients
.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Leadership and mentoring abilities.
**Min 4-6 years of experience is a must on related field.
** Qualification - B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or Information Technology/BCA/MCA.
