The Operator Engineer trainee will be responsible for Operating production machines, ensuring smooth running of processess, maintaining quality standards, an follow safety procedures on shop floor.
Assist in day-to-day
production operations
to meet targets and quality standards
Monitor
machine performance
, cycle time, and productivity
Ensure
proper setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting
of machines
Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
Maintain
production records, logs, and reports
Ensure adherence to
safety rules, SOPs, and quality procedures
Support implementation of
5S, Kaizen, Lean, and TPM activities
Work closely with quality, stores, and planning teams
Reduce rejection, wastage, and downtime on the shop floor
Qualification - Diploma in Mechanical
Good knowledge of
manufacturing processes
(CNC / VMC / Lathe / Milling / Assembly – as applicable)
Basic understanding of
engineering drawings & GD&T
Knowledge of
production planning and control (PPC)
is a plus
Familiar with
measuring instruments
(vernier, micrometer, gauges)
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience required: One to Three years of experience.
