Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our company's day-to-day operations and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, excellent organizational skills, and a strategic mindset. This role is critical in ensuring our operations align with business objectives and support our growth and success.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve operational processes and policies to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, technology, and infrastructure.
Project Management: Manage and coordinate IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring: Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts within the team promptly and effectively.
Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity and stability.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and addressing customer concerns promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs and expectations.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience 10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the IT industry.
IT Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and project management.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PMP, Agile).
Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and other operational software.
Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and manage conflicts effectively.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or ITIL.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT industry and its specific operational challenges and requirements.
