About the role Rootquotient is hiring an Operations Excellence & Performance Manager based in India to partner closely with the Director of Ops & finance and cross-functional leaders across Delivery, Engineering, Finance, Sales/Marketing, and People Ops. This role strengthens performance management, operational standards, continuous improvement, and ROI measurement—helping the business scale with consistency, clarity, and accountability. What you’ll do Performance metrics & operating cadence Define and manage KPIs across core functions (Delivery, Finance, GTM, People Ops). Build dashboards and reporting that support weekly/monthly leadership reviews. Track delivery performance and account health (predictability, quality, customer indicators). Delivery model maturity Establish clear maturity indicators for delivery execution (planning, governance, quality, predictability). Partner with delivery and engineering leaders to identify improvement opportunities and drive action plans. Continuous improvement Run a continuous improvement program: identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, align owners, and drive execution. Lead root-cause analysis for recurring issues (delivery delays, rework, margin leakage, operational bottlenecks). Improve workflows through SOPs, checklists, and lightweight governance. Operational standards & benchmarks Define operational standards for key workflows (sales-to-delivery handoff, onboarding, resourcing, reporting, change control, billing coordination). Create benchmarks and targets, and support teams in consistent adoption. ROI & impact attribution Partner with Finance to quantify the impact of initiatives (topline and bottom line). Build simple business cases, track outcomes, and report results to leadership. What we’re looking for 4–6 years in Business Operations, Delivery Operations, Operational Excellence, Program Management, or COO Office roles. Strong understanding of services delivery metrics (gross margin drivers, utilization, realization, forecasting, delivery health). Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority. Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel/Sheets; dashboards/BI is a plus). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to have Experience in a product engineering/services firm, digital agency, or consulting environment. Familiarity with tools such as Jira/Confluence, HubSpot/Salesforce, and time tracking/resource planning systems.
