Role Overview
As an OneStream System Analyst, you will effectively partner with various internal and executive stakeholders (Accounting and FP&A) and build strong relationships to drive change and ensure all requirements are met on time, at or within budget, with effective delivery of OneStream functionality to stakeholders.
In addition, you will also assist with ongoing updates, development, and maintenance of OneStream as the primary platform for financial reporting and consolidation. You must have extensive experience with OneStream implementation and a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations management of the OneStream environment and other related products as the primary reporting/consolidation platform
Work collaboratively with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to deliver marketplace solutions to meet the requirements of current and future business needs
Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and management reports
Utilize your expertise in SQL and VB.NET scripting to develop and maintain robust financial reporting and analytical solutions within the OneStream platform
Apply your thorough understanding of consolidation concepts to ensure accurate and efficient consolidation of financial data across multiple entities
Possess a good functional understanding of financial systems and processes
Familiarity with OneStream Marketplace tools to implement and integrate various solutions
Experience working with OneStream solution implementation
Experience in building metadata, business rules, forms, designing cube views, workflow, data reconciliation, data integrations, dashboards, and automations via rules
Ensure that the OneStream solution aligns with regulatory compliance standards, internal and external audit requirements, and industry’s best practices
Experience in migrating applications, artifacts, and deployments across environments
Ability to configure, test, and support the OneStream application
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology
3+ years of experience with financial reporting/consolidation software (OneStream)
OneStream certification or equivalent training
Knowledge of finance, accounting, internal control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proven track record in financial analysis and reporting. Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves, work in a lean environment with hands-on management capacity and desire
Experience in creation of business rules – custom consolidations, intercompany eliminations, automating cash flow, custom translations, and currency overrides
Experience in preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration/procedural guides
