Monitor network dashboards and alerting systems (e.g., IRM) for anomalies and performance issues. Perform initial triage of alerts, classifying severity and potential impact based on playbooks.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents of low to moderate complexity affecting wired and wireless networks, routing, switching, firewalls, etc. Open and manage tickets with vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto) and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Manage user-reported network issues submitted via the ticketing system. Resolve tickets within SLOs, ensuring clear documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
Implement routine and low-impact network changes following approved Change Requests (CRs) and MOPs. This could include tasks like port configurations, VLAN assignments, or software updates on single devices.
Maintain and update network diagrams and operational documentation. Participate in network health checks and audits.
