Key Responsibilities :
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
Establish and attain sales targets on a quarterly and yearly basis.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, distributors and collaborators
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and aligning our products and services to meet their requirements.

Collaboration across internal departments is crucial for successful business development.
You will work closely with various teams, such as Application Engineering team and Design team, to ensure a seamless and cohesive approach to business growth.
Skills and Experience required:
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful business strategies.
Proven ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial targets.
Proactively generate and qualify new leads through market outreach, networking, digital platforms, and direct customer engagement.
Maintain and track the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and ensure timely progression of opportunities.
Strong follow-up skills and ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Ability to understand MakSpeed’s product range (Flow Reactors, Dosing Pumps, Heating–Cooling Circulators) and explain their value and applications to potential customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Your ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues will greatly contribute to your success.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel), internet navigation, and the use of AI tools for research and basic content creation.
Self-motivated, proactive, transparent in communication, possessing confidence and dedication.
Demonstrates accountability and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Consistently achieves targets and meets deadlines.
Objectively analyses challenges or setbacks, acknowledging mistakes openly to facilitate learning opportunities.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering or Science (Preferably Chemical Engineering)
MBA qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing, preferably in equipment sales to chemical and pharmaceutical companies and R&D organizations.
