The Role Digital Video Audio (DVA) group’s portfolio consists of world-class products across desktop, mobile and cloud catering to professional customers. Some of the products that the team develops includes Adobe Premiere After Effects,   etc and associated Services.. This role will be responsible for following: Leading all aspects of development of back end infrastructure and video services. Managing development of Client Features and service integrations on various platforms. What you'll do Mentor and guide a high-performing engineering team Partner with global product management, engineering leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap, and release plans Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensure the successful delivery of projects Lead teams to deliver AI-powered features for customers and leverage AI for internal team productivity   Lead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategy Develop an execution plan and lead the engineering team to complete the vision Apply guidelines and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiency Attract, hire, onboard, and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team as a player-coach to be a high-performance team Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishments Lead discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership to use this knowledge to influence product direction What you need to succeed Passion and love for what you do! 15+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a management role Strong technical skills with experience in designing & developing enterprise applications Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns and experience leading significant software projects/products Proven experience running or leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cycles Possess strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Generative AI (GenAI) and Agents Proven experience in leading teams to develop features powered by artificial intelligence for customers. Evangelizing the use of AI to improve internal team efficiency. Demonstrated history of developing, guiding, coaching, and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers to deliver timely, high-quality software collaboratively Ambitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrating a strong bias to action Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing strong teams Strong Java/C++, design, coding, and architectural skills along with problem-solving and analytical abilities Experience in developing and leading teams building solutions with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure) Motivated independently with an eagerness to support a team and the skill to encourage the team in producing high-quality work Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation abilities, coupled with the talent to convince, uplift, and support others BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience About Adobe Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences.
