Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated
MERN Full Stack Developer
to join our growing technology team at SolarSquare. As a full stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modern web applications using the
MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN)
stack. This role demands strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on clean energy innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the
MERN stack
Write clean, efficient, and reusable
JavaScript/TypeScript
code
Develop user-facing features with
React.js
and implement backend services with
Node.js
and
Express.js
Create and manage databases using
MongoDB
Build and integrate
RESTful APIs
and third-party services
Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and security of applications
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ship features
Participate in
code reviews
, sprint planning, and architecture discussions
Implement core services such as
caching

logging
, and
monitoring
Work in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
3+ years
of hands-on experience in full stack development using the
MERN stack
Strong proficiency in
JavaScript
and
TypeScript
Experience with modern
JavaScript frameworks/libraries
such as React.js (Angular/Vue.js is a bonus)
Good understanding of
RESTful APIs
and
asynchronous programming
Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficient in
Git
and version control workflows
Understanding of
microservices architecture
and
event-driven systems
Experience with
Docker

Kubernetes
, and container-based deployments
Familiarity with
Test Driven Development (TDD)
and testing frameworks
Knowledge of
runtime services
like caching, logging, and background jobs
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
