If you thrive on solving hard problems, influencing technical direction, and driving innovation end-to-end, this is the role for you.</p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,0,0">Manage the full software development life cycle, from initial architecture and invention through development, release, and ongoing maintenance.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,1,0">&nbsp;Drive the technical strategy by influencing system design, architecture, and best practices, specifically contributing to the evolution of the FlashBlade Networking product area.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,2,0">Invent and optimize algorithms to orchestrate multi-array and multi-cloud storage systems, focused on achieving industry-leading resiliency and performance.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,3,0">&nbsp;Collaborate with world-class engineers across global sites (Silicon Valley, Prague, and Bengaluru) to deliver impactful, customer-focused features.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,4,0">Own features from concept to production, ensuring observability and efficiency, while also mentoring engineers and championing a culture of code quality.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,0,0">Extensive Experience and Education: Must possess 18+ years of experience developing and implementing high-performance networking products, coupled with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,1,0">Networking and Low-Level Systems Expertise: Requires significant domain knowledge of the Networking stack, with hands-on experience in systems development including IPv4/IPv6, API design, distributed systems, and/or device drivers.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,2,0">Hardware and Kernel Proficiency: Must have hands-on experience with the Broadcom SDK, familiarity with modern switch silicon features (like ECMP, QoS), and direct experience with Linux Kernel or device driver development.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,3,0">Core Engineering Skills: Demonstrated strong problem-solving, debugging, algorithmic, and coding skills, driven by a natural curiosity to design, implement, and rigorously test product components.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="4,4,0">Soft Skills and Team Collaboration: Must be flexible, accountable, and have excellent communication skills, thriving in a highly collaborative and globally distributed team through self-discipline, self-motivation, and an appreciation for soft skills.</p> </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Innovation</strong>: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.</li> <li><strong>Growth</strong>: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
