You will sit at the intersection of hardware and software, developing the logic that allows our custom enterprise storage devices to outperform standard off-the-shelf SSDs. This role offers the unique opportunity to pioneer QLC NAND management and low-level hardware integration, directly impacting the cost and scalability of the global Everpure Platform.</p> <p data-path-to-node="2"><strong data-path-to-node="2" data-index-in-node="0">WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul data-path-to-node="3"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="3,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Architect and implement firmware</strong> for the DirectFlash™ SSD Modules using C/C++, focusing on high-performance NAND media management and data path optimization.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="3,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Lead hardware bring-up</strong> for next-generation components and SoC features, ensuring seamless integration between custom hardware and low-level firmware.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="3,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Develop sophisticated simulation environments</strong> and failure analysis tools in Python to identify, debug, and resolve complex system-level bottlenecks.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="3,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Automate internal development workflows</strong>, including continuous integration and automated unit testing, to maintain high firmware maturity and release velocity.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="3,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="3,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Partner with hardware and system software teams</strong> to define proprietary media management algorithms that extend the life and performance of NAND technologies.</p> </li> </ul> <p data-path-to-node="4"><strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="0">WHAT YOU BRING</strong></p> <ul data-path-to-node="5"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Core Firmware Expertise:</strong> Proven experience in SSD device firmware development, with a deep understanding of NAND flash characteristics and translation layers.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,1,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Systems Programming:</strong> Advanced proficiency in C/C++ for embedded environments and Python for developing automation frameworks and diagnostic tools.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,2,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,2,0" data-index-in-node="0">Hardware Interfacing:</strong> Hands-on experience with SoC bring-up, micro-controllers, and debugging low-level hardware/firmware interactions.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,3,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,3,0" data-index-in-node="0">Lifecycle Knowledge:</strong> Comprehensive understanding of modern firmware test and release processes, including CI/CD and regression testing in a team environment.</p> </li> <li> <p data-path-to-node="5,4,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,4,0" data-index-in-node="0">Location:</strong> We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.</p> </li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Innovation</strong>: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.</li> <li><strong>Growth</strong>: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
