This role focuses on supporting Azure infrastructure, automating cloud operations, and contributing to infrastructure as code practices across environments. This position is based in

Team summary:
We are a team of engineers focused on reliability, automation, scalability, and operational excellence in a cloud-first environment. We work in an agile-based framework that helps us prioritize the most valuable and time-sensitive needs of the business. Our team supports systems across private and public cloud environments, with a strong focus on selecting the right solution for each use case through data-informed decisions. We continuously improve how infrastructure is provisioned, monitored, and maintained so that repetitive manual work is reduced and engineering time can be directed toward higher-value initiatives. As part of Tech Ops, we partner closely with engineering and platform teams to strengthen cloud operations, improve service reliability, and create consistent, repeatable infrastructure patterns.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Build
and maintain Azure infrastructure components that support internal platforms, applications, and operational services.
Develop
and manage infrastructure as code solutions using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, and related IaC tools.
Automate
routine cloud administration and operational tasks using PowerShell and scripting best practices.
Support
the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure resources across development, test, and production environments.
Monitor
cloud infrastructure health, availability, and performance, and help resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate
with engineering, security, and platform teams to implement secure, consistent, and scalable cloud configurations.
Document
infrastructure designs, deployment steps, configuration standards, and operational procedures to improve team efficiency and service continuity.
Contribute
to incident response, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions that improve reliability and reduce recurrence of issues.
Improve
deployment and environment consistency by identifying opportunities to standardize templates, scripts, and provisioning workflows.
Use
AI tools, where appropriate, to speed up script development, summarize infrastructure changes, troubleshoot recurring Azure issues, and learn new operational patterns while validating outputs for accuracy and security.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
Assist
with evaluating new Azure services, automation approaches, and infrastructure tooling that may improve team workflows.
Participate
in code reviews for infrastructure templates and scripts to support maintainability and consistency.
Contribute
to internal knowledge sharing through documentation updates, demos, or team discussions.
Support
audit, compliance, and access review activities related to cloud infrastructure when needed.
Daily support of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Help
maintain backup, recovery, and environment readiness procedures for supported systems.
Partner
with teammates on small-scale improvements to monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
Recommend
updates to existing scripts or templates based on operational experience and issue trends.
Provide
implementation support during planned infrastructure maintenance or release activities.
Expected Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 to 4 years
of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, platform engineering, or technical operations roles.
Experience
working with
Microsoft Azure
services for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Experience
with
infrastructure as code
using
ARM templates
,
Bicep
, and
Terraform
.
Experience
with Windows Administration and
PowerShell
scripting for automation and operational tasks.
Knowledge
of cloud infrastructure concepts such as networking, compute, storage, identity, access management, and monitoring.
Knowledge (or Familiarity)
of Linux a plus
Experience
with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation practices in cloud environments.
Familiarity
with CI/CD software and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Harness, Artifactory, Azure DevOps
Familiarity
with version control and deployment automation practices in cloud environments.
Experience
managing large fleets of Windows servers with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is a plus
Understanding
of troubleshooting methods for infrastructure, configuration, and environment-related issues.
Ability
to write clear technical documentation and follow established operational processes.
Ability
to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with engineers across functions and locations.
