Develop, manage, and update BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards.
Perform clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks, Revit, or BIM 360.
Coordinate with other trades (architectural, structural, electrical, etc.) to resolve design conflicts and ensure integration.
Provide training and support to junior BIM modelers and engineers on BIM workflows and software tools.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical BIM coordination, preferably in construction or MEP industries.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Experience in clash detection, coordination, and resolution.
Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with Dynamo, scripting, or automation in BIM workflows.
Familiarity with fabrication modelling and detailing.
Knowledge of COBie, IFC, and other BIM interoperability standards.
Certification in BIM or Revit (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
Ability to use Microsoft office applications
