About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Marketplace Reconciliation Executive to manage and own the end-to-end reconciliation of orders, returns, payments, and deductions across multiple marketplaces and quick commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with platforms like Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and Blinkit, and must be proficient in Excel and data handling.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of sales, returns, and payments across marketplaces like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Blinkit, and D2C websites (Shopify).
· Identify payment gaps, deductions, penalties, and chargebacks; raise disputes and follow up for resolutions with marketplaces.
· Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts, Operations, and Warehouse) to validate and resolve discrepancies.
· Maintain and update dashboards/reports to track reconciliation status, pending claims, and financial losses.
· Ensure accurate recording of revenue and reconciliation reports for finance audits.
· Analyze trends in marketplace deductions and suggest corrective actions.
· Work with Finance team for month-end closure support and reporting.
Requirements:
· 2–4 years of relevant experience in marketplace reconciliation in a D2C/e-commerce environment.
· Strong understanding of order lifecycle, settlement cycles, and return processes of platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Blinkit, and Shopify.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Logical Functions, etc.).
· Experience in dealing with chargebacks, disputes, and operational claims.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
· Good communication skills for internal and external coordination.
· Prior experience in a fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG D2C brand will be a strong plus.
Preferred:
· Exposure to reconciliation automation tools or ERP systems.
