Job Description Your Team The Market Data Services (MDS) team supports the firm by managing external market data vendors, services, and associated costs to ensure data is available, compliant, and cost‑effective. The team works closely with Investment, Technology, Legal, and Procurement partners to onboard new data services, manage vendor relationships, and maintain accurate inventory and billing controls. A strong focus is placed on governance, transparency, and process discipline across global market data usage. The team plays a key role in ensuring market data spend is well managed and aligned to business needs. Your Role This role supports the day‑to‑day operational and financial management of Market Data Services. The individual will be responsible for invoice processing, pricing validation, inventory maintenance, and vendor query resolution across market data services. The role works under general supervision, follows established procedures, and partners closely with senior MDS team members to ensure data services are accurate, compliant, and properly governed. This position is critical in maintaining data integrity, cost accuracy, and smooth operational workflows within MDS. You Will Be Responsible For: Maintaining process documentation for workflows related to vendor invoice processing and MDS pricing updates Processing and validating vendor invoices against contractual terms to ensure accurate billing and allocations within the MDS inventory system (e.g., FITS / Optimize Spend) Managing vendor billing queries, resolving invoice variances, and updating records in the MDS inventory system Supporting the senior MDS team with ongoing vendor management activities related to existing services and new procurements Assisting with new service requests and task workflows through ServiceNow Coordinating the flow of new contracts through internal Legal teams and ensuring global policies and procedures are followed Partnering with Technology Product and Support teams to support onboarding and setup of new market data services Assisting with annual budget planning, analysis, and ongoing financial tracking for MDS vendors The Experience You Bring: 3–5 years of experience within the Investment Services industry, preferably in a Market Data Services role Experience with vendor invoicing processes and core MDS business principles Hands‑on experience managing an MDS inventory system; Optimize Spend experience strongly preferred Familiarity with market data vendors and products including Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, Exchanges, Rating Agencies, and Index providers Understanding of vendor contract language and commercial terms Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Understanding of business drivers within an investment management or financial services organization Knowledge of Broker Soft Dollar procedures and methodologies is an advantage Degree‑educated or equivalent practical experience, with strong literacy and numeracy skills Full Time / Part Time Full time Worker Type Employee Job Exempt (Yes / No) No Workplace Model At Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
