You will also be involved in the implementation of new technology and development of existing processes.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Manage and review all US indirect tax filings including sales &amp; use tax, gross receipts tax, personal property and Commercial Rent.</li> <li>Provide excellent service to multiple US companies.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and be involved in ad-hoc projects as needed.</li> <li>Research and provide technical advice regarding indirect tax questions raised by US companies in a quick and efficient manner.</li> <li>Supervise, mentor, and develop staff members.</li> <li>Monitor US indirect taxes legislative and regulatory changes and assessment of impact to required filings.</li> <li>Responsible for monthly accruals and reconciliation of indirect tax accounts.</li> <li>Handle and respond to notices and assist with tax audits including analyzing various transactions for auditor inquiries and gathering of requested data.</li> <li>Work with Indirect Tax team members to determine economic nexus and required registrations for all US companies.</li> <li>Collaborate with 3rd party vendor and technology teams in the implementation of a tax engine.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What you'll need:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>A minimum of five years of Big 4 experience in indirect tax compliance and tax research.</li> <li>The ideal candidate will be an experienced problem solver with excellent writing and communication skills in English.</li> <li>Prior Indirect Tax management and Tax compliance experience using Tax software.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Who you are:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>You're open<em>:</em> </strong>We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
