JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Manage SJM and ARDX Legal entity tax compliance, litigation, tax reporting enabling the organization to meet its tax obligations and objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular tax compliance : Tax audit, tax computation, tax return and overall compliance activity including TDS, Advance tax installment working, tax refunds, etc.
Transfer Pricing : TP filing, Segment P&L, TP subvention, Master File, TP assessments and litigation
Tax litigation : Regular assessments, Appellate proceedings, rectifications, appeal effect, collation of details for assessment and appeal purposes.
Year-end activities : March year-end current tax and deferred tax working, Contingent tax liability, RPP analysis
Corporate reporting : Litigation reporting, Sept-Soft close and Dec-Hard close corporate reporting activities including current tax and deferred tax etc.
Annual activities : Lower tax Deduction Certificate, March year-end cut-over activities for TDS and TCS compliance, MSME payments
Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations, to understand how they impact the organization’s operations.
Coordination with auditors, tax consultants, external tax agencies and tax authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Commer graduate and Chartered Accountant
Experience/Background
Minimum 5 years
