Work you'll do
As a Manager, Tax Services on the German Business Tax team, you will be responsible for:
Manage and review group entity and standalone tax returns for corporations and partnerships
Oversee day-to-day delivery of tax compliance work and coordinate with onshore stakeholders to gather information required for return preparation
Review work products, resolve technical and process questions, and support timely completion of assigned deliverables
Coach team members, support onboarding of new hires, and provide guidance on work allocation and execution
Drive process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across engagements
The team
The German Business Tax team in USI is engaged in the preparation and review of various types of corporate entities in Germany, including tax reporting, tax returns, DWT returns, and law firm tax return submissions. We are a team of professionals with varying experience and skills in tax technical matters, and the team is involved in training, onboarding, work allocation, and process improvement/documentation.
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
Full-time master’s degree in finance
6-8 years of corporate tax experience
Experience preparing or reviewing tax returns for corporations and partnerships
Experience collaborating with offshore or onshore teams on tax compliance deliverables
Experience reviewing work products and providing day-to-day guidance to team members
Experience applying accounting principles in a tax compliance environment
Preferred:
Experience supporting German business tax engagements
Experience with DWT returns and law firm tax return submissions
Experience training or onboarding team members
Experience with process standardization or documentation initiatives
Experience using tax technology tools in a tax compliance environment
