We are seeking a
high-performing Lead Engineer who has managed teams
or an experienced
Engineering Manager
to lead strategic initiatives across
AI Enablement, Forward Development, and core Software Development
.
This role is responsible for driving
large-scale engineering transformation programs
, modernizing platforms, and building forward-looking capabilities that improve system scalability, reliability, and developer productivity. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to operate effectively across
global engineering teams
.
This is a
hands-on technical leadership role
balancing architecture, execution, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership & Execution
Lead engineering teams delivering
AI-enabled platforms, forward development initiatives, and core software systems
.
Drive
large-scale transformation programs
, including platform modernization, refactoring initiatives, and migration efforts.
Own the design and delivery of
shared tooling, frameworks, and developer productivity platforms
.
Provide architectural guidance across
backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures
.
Lead forward development efforts, including re-engineering existing solutions, building new capabilities, proof-of-concepts, and next-generation platform solutions.
Leverage
product and platform consumption data
to understand how features and tools are used, and use insights to guide design, prioritization, and improvement.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Leadership
Partner with
Product, Platform, Cloud, and DevEx teams
to deliver cross-company initiatives.
Work effectively across
global, distributed engineering teams
and multi-geo delivery models.
Manage and influence
senior stakeholders
, providing clear technical direction, progress visibility, and risk management.
Translate business and platform strategy into executable engineering roadmaps.
People Leadership
Manage, mentor, and grow
senior engineers and technical leads
.
Support Lead Engineers transitioning into people or platform leadership roles.
Foster a culture of
engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
.
Additional Responsibilities:
Mentor engineers through coaching, 1:1s, and career planning
Collaborate across Product, Design, and Engineering teams
Drive code reviews, architecture planning, and system monitoring
Manage Agile ceremonies including planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming
Champion innovation and continuous improvement
Support hiring and onboarding of new engineers.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years
of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or backend systems.
6+ years
of related experience;
4+ years with advanced degree
is acceptable.
Minimum 2 years of managing and developing employees Working
as a
Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager
with people management responsibility.
Proven experience running
large-scale engineering transformation programs
, including refactoring or platform modernization.
Hands-on experience building or leading
AI-enabled systems
, automation, or platform capabilities.
Strong backend development experience using
Java, Go, Python, Node.js
, or similar languages.
Solid foundation in
system design, distributed systems, and API design
.
Practical experience with
AWS, Azure, or GCP
.
Experience working with
global, distributed engineering teams
.
Strong communication skills and proven ability to manage
senior technical and business stakeholders
.
Experience analyzing
usage or consumption data
to evaluate adoption and effectiveness of product features or internal tools.
Nice to Have
Experience with
LLM-based systems
, AI agents, or AI platform enablement.
Experience building
internal tooling, shared platforms, or developer enablement solutions
.
Exposure to
cloud migrations or large-scale system refactoring programs
.
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
