About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and analytically strong professional with expertise in data interpretation, research, and report writing to support evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
The role will work closely with leadership and program teams to analyze quantitative and qualitative data, generate structured insights, and produce high-quality research outputs that inform strategy, policy positioning, and program design.
This role requires a hands-on professional who can combine analytical rigor with strong writing capability and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable narratives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Interpretation
Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
Design analytical frameworks aligned with program and policy objectives.
Identify trends, patterns, gaps, and performance indicators.
Develop dashboards and structured reporting formats for leadership review.
Research & Evidence Generation
Conduct primary and secondary research across relevant domains.
Design research methodologies including surveys, interviews, and data collection tools.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into structured analysis.
Benchmark national and international best practices.
Report Writing & Knowledge Products
Develop high-quality research reports, policy briefs, analytical notes, and concept papers.
Translate complex data into clear, structured narratives.
Draft executive summaries and strategic insights for senior stakeholders.
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and evidence integrity across outputs.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Insights
Develop frameworks for tracking performance and outcomes.
Create periodic analytical reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Interpret monitoring data to guide course correction and strategy refinement.
Support data-backed decision-making processes.
Stakeholder & Leadership Support
Present analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Support proposal development with data-backed narratives.
Contribute research insights to strengthen institutional positioning.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Data Science, Social Sciences, Business Analytics, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in research, analytics, monitoring & evaluation, or data-driven roles.
Demonstrated experience in writing structured research reports and analytical documents.
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with visualization platforms preferred.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (R, Python or Stata Preferred).
Prior experience of empirical analysis and data visualization
Coordinating and conducting impact evaluations of organisation's programs.
Strong understanding of research methodologies and data validation processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
