Job Title: Manager – Programmes Location: Mumbai Reports to: Executive Director Experience: Minimum 6 years (social sector / CSR / programme management) Role Overview The Manager – Programmes will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling Ketto Foundation’s programme portfolio. This is a builder role, not a maintenance role. The position requires collaboration and systems thinking, organisation skills, self-starter who can take ideas from concept to execution—setting up direct implementation projects, enabling NGO partnerships, and building /managing programmes, systems that allow programmes to scale with quality and credibility. You will work closely with fundraising, partnerships, research, and communications teams, and will own key programme outcomes across NGO engagement, capacity building, CSR proposal development, and direct implementation. Key Responsibilities 1. NGO Vetting, Onboarding & Ecosystem Development Lead first-level screening and onboarding of NGOs across priority states (Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal). Oversee document collection, compliance checks, and legal verification for NGOs. Map NGOs by cause area and geography, ensuring strong data quality and readiness for CSR engagement. Build and manage a structured NGO repository (minimum 200–400 NGOs) with complete profiles and documentation. 2. NGO Engagement & Proposal Readiness Shortlist and engage high-potential NGOs for deeper partnerships. Lead introductory meetings, onboarding discussions, and proposal follow-ups. Support NGOs in aligning proposals with CSR priorities and compliance expectations. 3. Capacity Building Programmes – Key to Tomorrow Lead outreach and mobilisation of NGOs for capacity-building cohorts. Oversee diagnostic surveys, cohort finalisation, and workshop execution. Coordinate resource persons, speakers, and content finalisation. Own post-workshop reporting and learning documentation. 4. State-Level Gap Analysis & Research Conduct periodic reviews of NGO data to identify state-wise and thematic gaps. Develop and refine NGO shortlisting formats and research frameworks. Analyse relevant government policies and ecosystem trends to inform programme design. 5. CSR Proposal Development & Programme Mapping Draft CSR proposals for direct implementation and indirect/sub-granting models. Map NGOs to relevant CSR proposals and thematic focus areas. Prepare customised decks and documentation for corporate partners. 6. Direct Programme & Intervention Curation (Entrepreneurial Focus) Identify opportunities for direct implementation programmes aligned with Ketto Foundation’s mission. Design programme concepts, RFPs, and implementation frameworks from scratch. Coordinate with NGOs, vendors, corporates, and internal teams to operationalise projects. Drive stakeholder follow-ups and on-ground readiness. 7. Platforms, Documentation & Systems Onboard and update CSR platforms (Benevity, Give2Asia, CAF America, etc.). Ensure all projects and documents are thematically aligned and audit-ready. Build standardised templates, playbooks, and programme documentation.
