About this role

Work Assignment 1. Responsible for all Procurement for Sayakha site - Raw Materials, Packaging Materials Procurement & Indirect Procurement. 2.Interface with other departments and vendors for all matters related to the procurement 3.Oversee and support day-to-day purchasing activities of the team. 4. Understand requirement given by various departments & buy / avail services from market with completion of all necessary procurement activities (like, RFQ, Negotiation, comparison, approval with management) for high value items / services. 5.Needs to Perform operational procurement activities in absence of team member. 6.Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications and regulatory requirements 7.Evaluate, manage, control and develop outsourced activities, including long term suppliers 8.Lead the conflict management with all external parties with best interest of Perstorp. 9.Implementation of global raw material contracts with necessary compliance in line with Production requirement. 10.Prepare and communicate monthly reports to senior management. 11.Evaluate vendor performance on continuous basis. 12. Represent procurement in internal or group audit activities & ensure compliances against process or against any observation.   13.Responsible for work with the contractors for implementation of contractor and 3rd party safety management system. 14.Needs to execute Capex Procurement requirement for any projects which are led by Site Technical & Maintenance team. 15.Guide Global Capex Procurement team for any new investment with information of local market & local vendors. Accountability 1.Ensuring material availability for uninterrupted production   2.Responsible for following transparent processes of procurement. 3.Ensure compliance with all procurement guidelines / policies along with ISO compliances. 4.Maintain a collaborative relationship with cross-functional departments i.e. production, technology, maintenance, accounting, HR, QHSE etc 5.Lead, Mentor & Develop a team with culture of ownership and accountability. 6.Implement Sustainability as theme while taking decisions related to vendor selection. Responsible for competence, performance and effectiveness of associated Team (PMD etc.).
