Our portfolio spans live plants, seeds, gardening inputs, planters, and landscaping services. Given the perishable nature of a large part of our inventory and the complexity of handling a wide SKU mix, supply chain plays a critical role in delivering a seamless customer experience.
Currently, Ugaoo operates through multiple fulfillment hubs, managing a high-velocity supply chain that includes procurement, inventory planning, last-mile delivery, and reverse logistics. As we scale aggressively, we are looking to build a future-ready, highly efficient, and tech-enabled supply chain ecosystem.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Process Excellence professional to drive operational efficiency, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Supply Chain and Operations function. The role will focus on optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes including warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, procurement coordination, and operational planning.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of operations, supply chain workflows, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement methodologies in a fast-paced D2C/startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational bottlenecks across the supply chain network.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost optimization, and process efficiency.
Build scalable and standardized operational processes across hubs and warehouses.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Supply Chain Operations
Optimize workflows related to warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, dispatch, and logistics.
Improve operational turnaround times and ensure adherence to SLAs.
Support operational planning and execution for smooth day-to-day functioning.
Work towards improving inventory accuracy and operational control mechanisms.
SOPs, Audits & Governance
Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and operational guidelines.
Create audit mechanisms and governance frameworks to ensure process adherence.
Conduct regular process audits and operational reviews across locations.
Ensure operational consistency and compliance across teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track and monitor operational KPIs including fulfillment accuracy, dispatch timelines, inventory variance, logistics performance, and warehouse productivity.
Prepare dashboards, reports, and actionable insights for leadership review.
Utilize data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Automation & Systems
Drive automation and digitization initiatives to improve operational visibility and reduce manual dependency.
Coordinate with Tech/Product teams for process enhancements and system improvements.
Support implementation and optimization of ERP/WMS-related processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, Planning, and Technology teams for seamless execution.
Drive alignment between teams to ensure operational efficiency and process standardization.
Support leadership on strategic projects and scale-up initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Process Excellence, or Continuous Improvement roles.
Experience in D2C, Ecommerce, Retail, FMCG, or startup ecosystems will be preferred.
Lean Six Sigma or similar process excellence certifications will be an added advantage.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Operations processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in process mapping, SOP creation, and operational audits.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong ownership.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational reporting tools.
Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and operational dashboards is preferred.
Strong communication and execution capabilities.
Detail-oriented with a structured and process-driven mindset.
