Job Role: Solar O&M Manager / Deputy Manager

Qualification: BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering (master’s preferred)
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee complete Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities of solar power plants to ensure maximum plant availability and performance.
Monitor daily generation, Performance Ratio (PR), CUF, inverter efficiency, and other operational parameters.
Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for solar modules, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, SCADA systems, and associated equipment.
Lead and supervise site O&M teams, technicians, and contractors for smooth plant operations and maintenance activities.
Analyze plant performance data and identify opportunities for improving generation efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Ensure timely troubleshooting and rectification of electrical and mechanical faults.
Coordinate with internal departments, DISCOMs, vendors, and clients regarding operational issues and statutory requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to generation, outages, maintenance activities, and plant performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, electrical regulations, and statutory requirements at all project sites.
Maintain inventory and spare management for uninterrupted plant operations.
Conduct periodic inspections, thermography checks, module cleaning audits, and equipment health assessments.
Handle warranty claim management and coordinate with OEMs/vendors for servicing and replacement activities.
Monitor SCADA systems and ensure proper remote monitoring and data logging functionality.
Drive operational excellence, cost optimization initiatives, and plant efficiency improvements.
Train and guide site teams on maintenance practices, operational procedures, and safety protocols.
Ensure adherence to contractual SLAs and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
Mandatory Requirement:
Candidate must possess a valid Supervisor License for 220KV issued/approved by the Telangana Electrical Licensing Board.
Preferred Skills:
Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems, SCADA, HT/LT systems, switchyards, and electrical maintenance.
Excellent troubleshooting and team handling capabilities.
Good understanding of safety practices and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and performance analysis.
Ability to manage multiple sites and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Experience Requirement:
Dy Manager/Manager: 8–10 years of experience in Solar O&M operations.
