Position Overview
The Marketing Manager – Companion Animal Business will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive growth and profitability in the companion animal segment. The role requires strong expertise in brand management, product launches, market research, forecasting, and digital as well as conventional marketing. The incumbent will collaborate cross-functionally with sales,
supply chain, and HR teams to ensure successful product positioning and sustained market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and brand lifecycle management for the Companion Animal
portfolio, including new product launches, positioning, and promotions.
Conduct market research & forecasting to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive
landscape; map Key Opinion Leaders, veterinarians, and channel partners for effective engagement.
Design and execute marketing campaigns (digital, print, CMEs, events) to strengthen customer and
veterinarian connect.
Manage key customer relationships to build loyalty, drive adoption, and ensure business growth.
Collaborate with Sales, Regulatory, QA, Supply Chain, and R&D teams for seamless execution and
compliance.
Monitor performance through KPIs, optimize budgets, and implement pricing & channel strategies to
achieve growth targets.
Qualifications & Experience
MBA/ MMS in Pharma Marketing/ Marketing Management (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Veterinary Sciences, or related fields.
7–12 years of relevant experience in pharma/animal healthcare marketing with proven success in
brand growth and product launches.
Prior Marketing exposure to Dermatology, Critical Care, Neuro, or Companion Animal Business will
be an added advantage.
