About the Job The Sales Manager - Government Sales will lead Remidio’s Government Sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding our footprint within the public healthcare sector. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on navigating government procurement processes, building strategic institutional relationships, and positioning Remidio’s AI-powered ophthalmic screening solutions in large-scale public health programs across India and potentially global government markets. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed government revenue targets. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Government Sales team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and sales results. Identify, build, and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key government clients, ministries, public health departments, hospitals, and other stakeholders. Navigate and manage complex government procurement processes, tenders, RFPs, and regulatory requirements effectively. Continuously analyze market trends, government health policies, budget allocations, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards for senior management. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, and Product) to ensure seamless solution deployment and customer success in government projects. Represent Remidio at government forums, health summits, and tender-related engagements. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Government Sales , preferably in the medical devices, healthcare technology, or diagnostic equipment sector. Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets in government/public sector business. Strong understanding of government procurement policies, GeM (Government e-Marketplace), tender processes, and public health procurement frameworks in India. Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in building and leading sales teams. Superior communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred. Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
