For more information, visit https://msu.edu.in/wise/ Role Overview: We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant who will be responsible for managing accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation matters, and financial reporting. The role requires strong expertise in the Companies Act, Income Tax regulations, accounting systems such as Tally, and preparation of financial reports and presentations for management review and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and reconciliation of ledgers. Prepare financial statements and support internal management reporting. 2. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable regulatory frameworks. Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Maintain statutory registers and required financial documentation. 3. Taxation (Direct & Indirect) Handle Income Tax compliance, tax filings, and related documentation. Monitor tax liabilities and ensure adherence to statutory deadlines. Coordinate with consultants and authorities regarding tax matters when required. 4. Accounts Management Manage accounting entries and financial transactions using Tally. Monitor receivables, payables, and financial reconciliations. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls. 5. Management Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial presentations and analytical reports for senior management. Provide insights on financial performance, cost management, and budgeting support. Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.
