For more information, visit www.medhavifoundation.org Role Overview: The Business Development Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships that align with the company's CSR goals. This role involves creating and managing initiatives that support social,environmental, and economic sustainability while enhancing the company's reputation and stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a passion for CSR, and the ability to drive impactful programs. Key Responsibilities: Fundraising & Pipeline Development Own and drive the annual CSR fundraising target; build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective corporate donors and partners. Identify, map, and research prospective CSR partners aligned with organisational thematic areas (livelihoods, education, skilling, etc.). Develop and pitch concept notes, expression of interest documents, and full project proposals tailored to corporate CSR mandates and Schedule VII priorities. Negotiate partnership terms, grant agreements, and MoUs in coordination with the legal and programme teams. Relationship Management Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of corporate partners; ensure timely reporting, impact communication, and renewal conversations. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with CSR heads, foundation directors, and HR/ESG teams at target companies. Organise and facilitate site visits, impact presentations, and partner engagement events to strengthen donor confidence and retention. Proposals, Reporting & Compliance Prepare high-quality utilisation certificates, impact reports, and compliance documents as per Companies Act 2013 Schedule VII requirements. Coordinate with programme and M&E teams to gather data, case studies, and outcome evidence for donor reporting and renewal pitches. Maintain an updated CRM system with accurate pipeline stages, donor communication logs, and grant deadlines. Strategy & Market Intelligence Monitor trends in corporate CSR spending, ESG disclosures, BRSR reporting, and emerging thematic priorities to inform outreach strategy. Contribute to the development of new programme verticals and funding models (impact-linked, multi-year, pooled) in collaboration with senior leadership. Represent the organisation at sector conferences, industry convenings, and networking forums to build visibility and source leads Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in business development, corporate social responsibility, or a related area. Strong understanding of CSR principles, sustainability, and community engagement. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Passion for social, environmental, and economic sustainability.
