Job Description :
Role: Manager/ Associate Manager – Finance
Reporting to: CFO
Location: Mumbai/Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.
Record all day-to-day accounting entries
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely posting of entries.
Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
2. Banking & Treasury Operations
Handle daily banking transactions, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations.
Manage vendor and customer payments, inward remittances, and foreign currency
transactions.
Liaise with banks for documentation, KYC updates, and related financial activities
.
3. Financial Statements & Month-End Closing
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet,
Cash Flow).
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
Support consolidation and management reporting activities.
4. Management Information System (MIS)
Prepare periodic MIS reports on financial performance, expense analysis, and
variances.
Provide insights and support management in financial planning and decision-making.
5. Audit & Compliance
Coordinate with statutory and tax auditors to provide required information and schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
CA or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory
compliances.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or equivalent).
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and external
parties.
