Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for Windows and web applications
Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Test Windows-based desktop applications for installation, usability, and performance
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a test perspective
Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
Ensure software meets quality standards before release
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
Experience in functional testing of
Windows desktop applications
Experience in testing
web-based applications
across browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
Good knowledge of test case design techniques
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Understanding of API testing (using tools like Postman is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
