<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Low Latency Software Developer's responsibilities will include:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Designing, developing and implementing efficient code for various components of the team's low latency, high throughput production trading and research systems</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Developing systems that provide easy, highly efficient access to historical market data and trading simulations</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Developing, augmenting and calibrating exchange simulators</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coordinating with traders and senior developers globally to understand trading problems and develop scalable software solutions</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Building risk-management and performance-tracking tools</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Staying up to date on state-of-the-art technologies in high performance computing industry</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in the finance industry along with:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Software development experience as demonstrated through course work, research projects, or open source activities, preferably in C++</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of Linux</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong background in C/C++ and Python</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The willingness to take on tasks both big and small</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication skills and fluency in English</span></li>
