What You Will Do
Handle
end-to-end SEZ and STPI compliance
, including documentation, filings, approvals, and ongoing regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with
Development Commissioners, STPI authorities, customs officials, and other government bodies
for registrations, renewals, permissions, and clarifications.
Maintain and update
SEZ/STPI records
, including
monthly SOFTEX filings
, SEZ annual performance reports, and other statutory submissions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with
SEZ/STPI operational guidelines
, including tracking benefits, obligations, and usage conditions.
Review
import and export documentation
such as Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, and Duty Drawback-related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Liaise with
customs authorities
to manage clearances, respond to queries, and ensure adherence to customs regulations.
Work closely with
freight forwarders and customs brokers
to enable smooth logistics and compliant import/export operations.
Collaborate with the
Tax Manager
to evaluate and apply
FTA benefits
where applicable.
Act as a
single point of contact
for all SEZ, STPI, and customs-related queries from internal stakeholders.
Provide
training, guidance, and support
to internal teams on SEZ, STPI, and customs compliance procedures.
Support audits and regulatory inspections by ensuring timely availability of documentation and responses to regulatory queries.
What You Need
Professional qualification
such as
CA or LLB
(preferred).
3–5 years of experience
in SEZ, STPI, and customs compliance, preferably within a corporate or multinational environment.
Strong working knowledge of
SEZ/STPI regulations, customs laws, and the Foreign Trade Policy
.
Hands-on experience with
ERP systems
and strong proficiency in
MS Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Travel Percentage: 20%
