Work you'll do
As a Lead Software Engineer I- Experience Designer- Manager on the Deloitte DT-US Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for:
Leading UX strategy and design for a product or product area, connecting individual solutions to the broader product experience vision
Collaborating with product, engineering, business, and delivery stakeholders to define user-centered solutions aligned to business goals and key performance indicators
Creating workflows, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other UX deliverables that support intuitive and consistent user experiences
Applying user research, usability findings, and behavioral data to identify experience opportunities, solve interface challenges, and improve product outcomes
Contributing to design standards, reusable assets, and experience practices while guiding teams through workshops, reviews, and hands-on design execution

Deloitte DT-US Product Engineering brings together product, engineering, and experience capabilities to build digital products that support business priorities and user needs. The team works in cross-functional product squads to define, design, and deliver scalable experiences through iterative development and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with stakeholders across product management, engineering, and research to shape experiences that are useful, usable, and aligned to product strategy.

Qualifications
Required:
9+ years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, or product design
Experience leading end-to-end design for digital products, including user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Experience applying Design Thinking and Lean UX methods within cross-functional product teams
Experience designing responsive experiences for desktop and mobile platforms
Experience using UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, InVision, UXPin, or Balsamiq
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
Portfolio or work samples demonstrating UX design experience
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
Experience using behavioral analytics, usability findings, and user research to inform design decisions
Experience facilitating workshops to define experience problems and align cross-functional teams
Experience contributing to design systems, pattern libraries, or reusable design assets
Experience presenting design concepts and rationale to product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Experience working in product-led environments with empowered cross-functional teams
