Roles & Responsibilities:
● Standard identification of international requirements & certification. ∙
● Test plan creation, testing, test report preparation for the product as per FCC, CE, ROHS & other international regulatory standards.
● Develops an export plan for each assigned project and provides consultation on international requirements and customs.
● Preparation & management of all shipment related documents, interpret export financing methods and terms of payment, handle the Central Excise/Customs Clearance: Regulations, Procedures and Documentation.
● Meet internal teams to coordinate efforts, provide recommendations and alerts, and update project reports/ spreadsheets. Ensures fluent communication and interaction between internal departments in order to avoid obstacles during the export process and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
● Planning and coordinating the international shipment of products.
● Providing internal training on RF standards, testing, certification requirements & procedure to the team members.
● Formulate export compliance policies and procedures.
● Ensure regulatory compliance for the products and meet the requirements of the countries we want to operate in.
● Understand the concept of diverse certification and the various steps you need to take in order to comply
● Obtain the approvals, permits, import certificates, export certificates and licenses that you need for your products.
● Drive prompt, thorough and consistent adherence to enterprise-wide regulatory & statutory compliance requirements and expectations.
● Work with global trade management systems, like SAP GTS and Integration Point to ensure that all export and duty management/FTZ related data is maintained and accurate and that processes are correct
● Collaborate with the Legal department on obtaining applicable export licenses ∙ Prepare, submit, negotiate and assist in the implementation of Export Compliance Management Plans (ECMPs), Technology Transfer Control Plans (TTCPs) and
Technology Control Plans (TCPs)
Desired Qualification, Experience, Skills:
● Any Graduate (BE Mech/ E&TC with Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain preferred).
● Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience with export regulations in a capacity of electronic/ wireless product compliance, international or global trade, or similar operations is required
● Knowledge on International certification & testing is a must.
● Product Export Classification knowledge is necessary
● Monitor regulatory developments and ensure regulatory requirements are met within the Company
● Excellent communication skills
