As a key member of a dynamic fast growing business unit provide networking design expertise insuring a smoothly performing digital system from edge collection through cloud utilization. This role will serve as a key member of technology developments providing networking expertise to all developments. Further, the individual will provide networking expertise to project execution teams as required and provide design oversight and approval to networking aspects of digital proposals.
Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Collaborating & coordinating with technology & security teams
Planning & arranging scheduled upgrades
Investigating faults in the network
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
Reporting network status to key stakeholders
Implementing, monitoring, and deploying disaster recovery systems and measures
Collaborating & approving network design in complex digital solution project proposals
8+ years' experience in network engineering role
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical, networking, or electronics engineering

Commercial and business awareness
Azure and Cisco network certifications
Network certification, such as CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking Certification, Azure Network Engineer Associate
